VK FUNCTIONS HUB

Showcasing IT Knowledge, STEM Facts, Skills & Achievements

Vohara Kodikara

I am Vohara Kodikara, a student at Colombo International School, driven by intellectual curiosity, disciplined excellence and a commitment to meaningful impact. From national level badminton courts to advanced STEM study, my journey has been shaped by challenges that stretch both mind and character.

At twelve, I became one of the youngest students in Sri Lanka to complete a Pearson Assured Diploma in Information Technology with Distinction, gaining early mastery in coding, algorithms, and problem-solving. By fifteen, I had completed university-level coursework, including HarvardX: Energy and Thermodynamics and MIT: Basic Circuits and Electronics I, building a strong foundation in analytical thinking and systems-level problem solving.

I have consistently achieved top marks across Mathematics and the sciences, with national and international awards such as distinction in the International STEM Olympiad, Royal International Chemistry Quiz, and advanced Kumon ASHR honors. I have also earned multiple prestigious scholarships at national and international levels, including a Full IBDP Scholarship and competitive academic scholarships through essay competitions.

Beyond academics, I am passionate about knowledge creation. I founded VK Functions Hub, authored technical guides on Energy, Thermodynamics, Electronics and Piezoelectricity and published creative works, including A Journey with Waves and Collection of Creative Poems, archived by the National Library of Sri Lanka.

Through VK Functions Hub, I aim to use science, technology, and education to empower learners and create meaningful societal impact.
